Owned by Linda Cooper, an award-winning SAFAS designer and arranger of flowers, The Flower Pavilion opened in September 2016 in a former bowling pavilion that she has lovingly brought back to life.
Linda said: “Over the past eight months people have become so much more home orientated. I could hardly keep my customers, and lots of new ones, in house plants over the summer. They were very keen on looking after something green and were into the health benefits along with the attractive aesthetic for their homes.
“Christmas is usually about wreath workshops in the Pavilion, but this year sees us providing DIY kits instead with a how-to video. We are also planning some festive, twinkly, late night shopping events when home decorations can be chosen, along with masses of Christmas greens and some beautiful fresh flowers to compliment. The candles will be lit and Christmas carols playing in the background. We want to make local experiences the best.”
