Redcastle Brewery

Built by local farmer & award-winning Clydesdale Horse breeder John Anderson, Redcastle Brewery is a 10BBL brewery producing a range of high-quality ales in cask & bottle.  The Redcastle name dates back to a time when John’s family farmed the land at Redcastle, Lunan.  John retained the Redcastle name and having successfully bred award-winning Redcastle Clydesdale Horses for over 30 years, he carried the name on to the brewery too.

At Redcastle we create traditional British-style ales of exceptional quality and taste.  Everything is done in house, we choose only the finest ingredients for our beers, sourcing a variety of hops to produce a smooth and distinctive, fresh flavour in each beer in our range.  Our products cover a wide spectrum of flavour profiles from IPAs, pale ales through to Stout. They are naturally carbonated and cask/bottle conditioned, making them honest, flavoursome and moreish.

We are proud to support both trade and retail customers as well as selling direct to the public through our attendance at farmers markets and events. Our Beers are available to purchase online or from the brewery shop.  We can provide tours of our brewery (by appointment) where you can also meet the wonderful Redcastle Clydesdales.
